Los Poblanos Inn & Cultural Center

Traditional travel accommodations are out the door for me. Seeking and finding those extraordinary lodging places is the best part of a travel adventure. I believe I have found such a place. Visitors will be delighted to know that Albuquerque, New Mexico is home to a special retreat that will offer guests a historic lodging experience and more. Welcome to Los Poblanos, Historic Inn and Cultural Center. A peaceful and lovely bed and breakfast nestled near the Rio Grande Bosque and just minutes from the Historic Old Town District. This surprising retreat is a combined delight of lodging, an organic farm, lavender fields and cultural center all in one.
Los Poblanos Inn sits on six acres of formal gardens that flourish with lush native plants and flowers. The outer grounds of the property have fragrant fields of lavender grown by Los Poblanos. Los Poblanos planted its first lavender in 1999 on land that was the headquarters for the historic Los Poblanos Ranch. Visitors are offered informative lectures, festivals and information on growing lavender and its uses. There is of course, a lavender gift shop, which has the best quality lavender delights. Los Poblanos Inn is host to the "2012 Lavender Festival," which is an important yearly cultural event. Also, another great asset to the property is the Los Poblanos Organics, a working farm that cultivates over 75 varieties of fruits and vegetables without the use of any synthetic fertilizers or chemicals. To participate in the organic produce you will need to become a member. It's that good. The farm is an amazing site.

The landscape grounds and flowered gardens would be a fabulous stage for special events, meetings and weddings. It's definitely possible, Los Pablanos has the team and ability to make special events happen. The Los Poblanos Inn and Culture Center is an upscale property that was created to give special guests the full impact of a more personable lodging experience. Accommodations are limited. Advanced reservations are highly recommended.
